I have used James' services for the past 2 years, he has been our "Go to" man for anything we need doing in or around our house. I have tried others but I prefer James' style of working and the fact that he is an all rounder, there seem to be no end to his talents! Prior to this year he assisted in the re-vamping of our living room, new fireplace, skirting, lighting etc.


Our first job in the summer of this year was renovating our dilapidated garage. James was able to listen to what we wanted to achieve ie make it water proof and usable! He and his assistant stripped the garage out it ( it was moldy and like a scene from a horror film!) loaded the skip and then cleaned the inside. The roof was covered with tar and then a tarpaulin making the garage a dry and secure place to store my furniture renovation projects! Fabulous!

The next job in September was our old bathroom, on it's last legs and with a shower held together by masking tape! I'm a frustrated interior stylist and had a very definite vision of how I wanted this to look,James didn't flinch when I explained it to him and didn't complain when he saw the tiles I had bought! James stripped the room back to the bare walls taking off a huge amount of tiles as well as rebuilding a wall. He was able to advise on the best way to place the room as well as further ideas about showers/taps, water saving etc I am thrilled with the bathroom and no longer dread going in there! James returned a couple of times when I couldn't work the vent fan and didn't make me feel embarrassed about this!

Lastly in November we called upon his services again to renovate our porch following a new front door. James stripped off the old flat roof and built a lovely pitched roof.Following the door being fitted he added guttering and a new light to complete the look. Internally a new floor was laid, the walls were insulated and plastered and new skirting added all round. Any questions asked were answered honestly and often there were other suggestions to think about.

James is an honest, conscientious, diligent and thorough worker. His work is always completed to the highest standards and he will often stay late to get a job finished.
